Some context:

Graphic Design is my original passion. As an idealistic student, I believed it could save the world. Now I'm older and a bit wiser to the world's ways, I no longer believe that, but I do believe it can make Change look a whole lot better and, well, legible.

What I love about Graphic Design is that it's an Art, but one with a deeply technical aspect to it that I have dedicated my 25-year professional career to its study. I have a love for innovative typography, production processes and packaging, but what really turns me on is the discovery of surprising solutions to problems that bring a smile to the mind.

I take pride in bringing ideas to life through perfectly-executed artwork and look forward to each new contract for the challenge of applying my skills. I have had the honour of working with some of the world's best creatives and designers and have been instrumental in bringing some incredibly beautiful examples of creativity into reality.

Photography and painting are two of my other passions. I like to capture details and textures, empty horizons, people and vehicles. Painting with gouache was a skill I learned while studying graphic design and it’s my favoured medium. Abstract mythological creatures fill my notebooks, along with studies of ocean-worn pebbles.

I am also a writer. For over ten years I was the editor of The Spoken, an online gallery of the world's most beautiful custom, classic and handmade bicycles. It developed into a valuable resource for collectors, restorers, riders and frame builders. As well as nearly 2,000 articles on the site, I've also had numerous stories and photographs published in books and magazines.

The future fills me with excitement as the way we move and live evolve. Perhaps Design still can change the world for the better.
